Sean Urquhart
Am A

I may be interested in attending but can't give a definite answer right now.
On the plus side, my Grandma lives in Springfield so I can visit with her all weekend.

Rich, if it snows like it has in the past or like it did last year at the Arnold, would the games continue?
I'm more concerned about staying healthy than in years past so this could affect my decision.

By virtue of the name itself, Ohio Tundra Games, we will conduct this competition regardless of the weather. I understand Sean's concern about not getting injured at the begining of the season. I don't recall any world records being set at the Tundra games. We've thrown in 41 degrees, a swamp for a field and one year we had 18 inches of snow. Certainly some events will be a game time decision based on field conditions. We've never thrown Sheaf because of poor conditions. Cabers and hammers are usually the next to go because they're too slippery. Most of us are not in good throwing form this early in the year anyway. So, come on out and have a good time.

Additionally, I will be collecting the Annual Fee of $10 for the website hosting and maintenance. A link will be posted shortly for those not in attendence to pay via PayPal for both the Annual Fee and Games.

Thanks for everyone's interest.

As for the annual dues...Who is responsible for paying? Is it a requirement to compete? I have a few guys that just want to try it out and I'm not sure if they are required to be members to compete or not.

There will be no annual fee for the people that want to try the events at Tundra. Competing is a different story. If they compete and want their scores put on NASGA or SGL, they should pay the annual fee. If they want to compete at Reynoldsburg in April, we would expect them to pay the annual fee. Depending on the number of newbies, I will have a Novice Class added.

Masters.  Need to see you guys again.  Keeps me in balance.  Need the kick in the pants too.   I will bring my back up weights etc.  Can't bring a caber though.  Willing to destroy sheaf standards for pay....

Denominations of payment for sabotage are 39 White Castles.  Will settle for 7.
