So, being that I used to do the whole powerlifting thing I am very familiar with the Westside Barbell methods. Now that I am doing Highland Games I want to apply WSB stuff to training for that sport.

For those who may be familiar with the WSB template, do you think it could be applied to the throws simply by replacing the Dynamic Effort movement with a throw? For example, instead of DE squats or deadlifts, I could do several weight over bar attempts. That particular event involves many of the same muscle groups.

Just kind of thinking through all this stuff. Any thoughts or ideas???

Stick with what you know WSB. Moving weight fast is the name of the game. Its worked well for many of us.
